Preparation Methods

Each year the QATM application laboratories process a great number of customer samples of varying materials. Processing these samples includes finding the perfect combination of machines, consumables, and individual instrument settings for each processing step.

To share this knowledge with customers and partners QATM has compiled a handbook for the “Standard preparation methods for materialographic analysis”.

This handbook presents some of the more common sample materials with their respective preparation steps.
